WS 05: Technique Germaine Acogny

The Acogny Technique is an African contemporary dance technique that synthesizes traditional African dances and Western dance techniques. Joy, play, rhythm, and the connection between human beings and nature are the foundations of this technique. This work is focused on the feet, the pelvis, the full use of the spine and the sternum.
