WS 30: Introduction to Partnering and Contact Improvisation

This workshop teaches the basic principles of partnering and contact improvisation. Through exercises, such as sliding and rolling point of contact, the focus lies on the moment. This promotes an understanding of body weight and how it changes without losing sight of the floor. This opens up free dancing, supported by classical figures. The freelance dancer and choreographer Laura Heinecke teaches partnering and gyrokinesis. She founded her own company in 2012, which performs nationally and internationally. Several of her works have premiered at fabrik Potsdam.
